Ori Navon - Goldenberg

Ori is a 3 years old child from Israel and she is an only child to her parents. Ori has world-class rare medical condition that disables her jaw joints to move.

Due to this condition, Ori can't open her mouth and can't breathe, eat or speak properly. This condition endangers her life.

For Ori to continue to grow, develop and conduct a normal life, she needs urgent surgery followed by a series of restorative treatments.

MGH Boston Medical Center has the unique experience in reconstructing recovering jaw joints where the first step is based on transplanting a rib instead of the existing jaw joints. This surgery is a critical part of a process that Ori is required to pass through as part of her journey for normal life. At the end of the journey Ori will be able to eat, breathe, grow and develop like any normal girl.
